Hospital purchases new, state-of-the-art fetal heart monitor

Johnson County hospital is pleased to announce that they have purchased a new, state-of-the-art fetal hearth monitor, which went into use earlier this month. The $17,500 piece of equipment was paid for in part from $7,500 in grant funds secured from the Rogers Foundation and a $2,500 donation from the Johnson County Hospital Foundation.

“This new equipments offers us more options than our previous machine, so we can continue enhancing patient care for our expecting mothers,” said Ruth Bossung, Director of Nursing. “We are very grateful to the Rogers Foundation and the Johnson County Hospital Foundation for helping us to fund this project.”
